My best friend is the biggest coffee lover I know, so for her birthday I made some delicious mocha cupcakes!

Vanilla cakes with a chocolate-mocha filling; topped with mocha buttercream, chocolate shavings and a chocolate-covered coffee bean. They were definitely a hit! :)

Pics not very good as I was rushing off to meet up with another friend for coffee after baking cupcakes. My bf and my friend's bf are Guitar Hero 3 addicts. So as Guitar Hero 3 widows, we seek solace and comfort in cupcake baking *sobs* hehe. Mocha cupcakes with mocha buttercream. The mocha buttercream seems to be a winner everytime.
